These terms apply when you use the Refresh Fruit Boutique website to browse or place an order. By placing an order you agree to them. If you have a question, call us at (718) 437-4422.
Your account
You sign in with your cell number and a code we text you. Anyone who can receive texts at your number can sign in as you, so keep your phone secure and tell us if your number changes. Orders placed with a number belong to that one account.
Orders and availability
Produce is seasonal and our stock changes through the day. Placing an order is a request to buy; it is accepted when our team prepares it. If an item is unavailable, we substitute a comparable item or remove it, and your order page shows exactly what changed.
Prices and payment
- Online prices are the same as in the store.
- Some items are priced by weight. The website shows an estimate per piece; the final price is set when your order is weighed and rung up.
- When you order, we place a temporary hold on your card for the estimated total plus a small margin for weighed items. After your order is prepared, we charge the final amount and the hold is released. For orders more than a few days ahead we keep your card on file and place the hold the day before.
- Delivery fees and any tips you choose are shown before you check out.
Delivery and pickup
We deliver to the areas and on the days shown at checkout. Same-day orders close at the cut-off times shown. Please make sure someone can receive perishable food at the address, or leave instructions for the driver. Pickup orders can be collected during store hours on the day you choose.
Changes and cancellations
Call us as soon as possible at (718) 437-4422, before your order is prepared. Once it has been prepared we may not be able to change it.
If something isn't right
See our guarantee: call us the same day with your order number and a photo, and we will make it right.
Pictures and descriptions
Pictures show what an item looks like and may be illustrations. Fruit and vegetables vary naturally in size, color and shape.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site: no automated ordering or scraping, no attempts to reach other people's accounts or orders, and no interfering with how it works. The Refresh name, logo, pictures and text belong to Refresh Fruit Boutique.
Limits
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of New York.
